Consultations usually take one hour. The number of sessions will depend on the nature of the problem. The breaking of habits (eg. smoking), will usually take one/two sessions, whereas lifelong problems may need a series of consultations.
How I work - I use an interactive technique, beyond pure suggestion, combining hypnosis and CBT. I also utilise NLP, EFT and EMDR techniques where appropriate. The subconscious is persuaded to reprogram its ‘software' because a symptom or behaviour does not serve a useful purpose.
Hypnosis is effective in any condition where emotional or psychological factors are involved or where behaviour patterns or habits need to be changed. Hypnosis induces a heightened state of awareness in which the subconscious mind becomes very receptive to beneficial suggestions.
Specialisms - I have a BA Hons degree in the performing arts and have a particular interest in the treatment of performance anxiety (stage fright, interviews, presentations, examinations) and have worked with many actors, singers, sportsmen and executives to maximise potential and attain goals.
I work from my clinic in Kingston Upon Thames. Please contact me if you have any questions or would like to make an appointment.
